We are a group of Renal Counsellors, Psychologists & Psychotherapists working in the NHS and three counsellors working for Kidney Care UK.  We were founded in 1992 by a small group of counsellors working in the NHS and the group has grown from strength to strength.  Currently we have 27 members across the UK, Ireland & Canada.  We meet three times a year for networking, support, professional development, training and research/audit.  We also work closely with the other psychosocial practitioners working in renal - Social Workers (BASW) and Psychologists Network (BPS).  We are affiliated members of BRS with a seat on council; and are supported by Kidney Care UK.
